by In The World, HELL is a derogatory joke. Why? Because “the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not” (2 Cor. 4:4).
In Religion, HELL is corrupted doctrine.
- JW’s: “The wicked will be annihilated”
- Mormon’s: “All will eventually be saved, and not suffer eternal punishment”
- Christian Science: “Hell is an error of the mortal mind”
- 7th Day Adventist: “God will someday blot out all sin and sinners, and establish a clean universe once again.”
Why Teach on Hell?
Because of the utter confusion. There are over 150 references to HELL in the New Testament, half spoken by Jesus. Every word translated HELL in Greek and Hebrew speak of a literal place of judgment.
- Hell is Inherited: Physical and spiritual death are inherited from the sin of Adam (Rom. 5:12). Judgment for this sin is inherited as a literal and eternal lake of fire (Rom. 5:18; Rev. 20:14-15; 21:8).
- Hell is Inhabited: Angels (2 Pet. 2:4) — People (Luke 16:23) — Families (Num. 16:32-35) — Cities (Gen. 19:24) — Nations (Psalm 9:17)
- Hell is Inhumane: Religion teaches a humane judgment not found in the Bible. Purgatory is not in the Bible (1 Cor. 5:8; Luke 16:22-23). Reincarnation is not in the Bible (Heb. 9:27). Annihilation is not in the Bible (for the saved: 1 Cor. 15:53; for the unsaved: Rev. 20:12-13). The truth is, HELL is inhumane, because it was not created for mankind (Matt. 25:41). HELL is eternal and final (Matt. 25:46; 2 Pet. 2:17; Rev. 14:10-11).
- Hell is Insane: No one wants you to go to HELL but Satan. He is the father of all lies (John 8:44). He is lying today just as he was with Even in the Garden of Eden when he said, “Ye shall not surely die” (Gen. 3:4). As insane as it may seem, many have fallen for the lies of Satan and are perishing even today.
Who wants you to go to Hell?
- NOT the Father (John 3:16)
- NOT the Son (Heb. 2:9)
- NOT the Spirit (John 16:7-13)
- NOT anyone in Heaven (Luke 15:10)
- NOT anyone in HELL (Luke 16:27-28)
